Squeeze the sides of the disc together, making it the size of a tampon. Insert the pinched disc pointing down and back into your vagina. You want it to sit at a vertical angle so it completely covers your cervix. Make sure you push it past the pubic bone as far as it can go and the tab is centered. Like most things in life, you might need to practice a bit until you’ve got the hang of it. You can wear the tab tucked under the disk if you have a low/average cervix or during sex/play time, you can wear the tab flipped with the bottom loop pulled through the top loop from behind if you have an average cervix or you do not know your cervix height, you can wear it dropped so the tab is free which is best for a high cervix or those with reach/grip issue and finally you can wear it trimmed with the second loop cut off for a low cervix or if you find the tab uncomfortable. To remove, reach into your vagina with your index finger and hook it unto the tab, pulling it straight out. Once it’s out, simply tip the contents down the loo, rinse (or wipe if there’s no tap handy) and reinsert. Easy! Once your period is over, we recommend you sterilise your Hello disc by using a 1/4 of a sterilisation tablet or boil.
